Winter Pressures Fund

BAVO are pleased to announce that we have received funding from the Welsh Government to help alleviate pressures over the coming winter months in our local area. The Winter Pressures Grant Fund will aim to directly fund local activity that can help to create additional capacity/activity, or extend existing activity where other funds are running out.

Purpose of the Winter Pressures Fund

These grants will help in the local community in the Bridgend area and can be between£500 -£5,000. We can consider requests outside this range, but please contact us first to discuss. This fund is primarily focused on revenue funding; however, your funding request can contain costs for purchases of smaller ‘capital’ equipment including consumables(for example PPE).The Winter Pressures Fund is not prescriptive, the fund is responsive to the needs of voluntary sector service deliverers.

Request process

1)You will complete the brief application form outlining the purpose of your funding request, ensuring it is in line with the grant aim.

2)Requests will be reviewed by an Assessor and if there are any queries you will be contacted.

3)Panel approval on a rolling basis to avoid delay.

4)Notification of funding via Grant Offer Letter and payment via BACs.

The deadline for applicants will be on the 10th of January 2022, at 4pm. Follow the link for the application form.
