Join WCVA  to test community-led ideas, activities and approaches that will help develop a fairer, greener and healthier Wales.

They’re open to applications from diverse, inclusive community groups or cross-sector partnerships. This is a national programme, developed with Nesta’s People Powered Results team, exploring how local communities, working with others as a team across boundaries can innovate at pace. It is an opportunity to take part in a rapid period of testing and learning across three months, when you will be able to develop existing ideas as well as experimenting with new ones.

The aim is to look at how local relationships help good things happen, or don’t. Learning from the programme will help policy makers understand how national strategy can support communities to thrive. Applicants will be experienced in community action, eager to experiment and already working with others, or have an idea of how you’d like to work in partnership to get things done.

They’d like to hear from active members of diverse and inclusive community groups, working in the voluntary, statutory or private sectors. This includes local authority or health board teams working in the community, or a community-minded local business or enterprise with good ideas.

The deadline for application is midday on 25 June 2021.
