Pre-bookable Bridgend Super-agers activities

Are you aged 50 plus? Want to get out of the house, get active and make to new friends to improve your wellbeing? Come along to one of our Bridgend Super-Agers actvities!

Enjoy socialising with others, improve your physical and mental wellbeing and make a positive impact on your local community. We are aiming to get you moving on your doorstep by helping you to organise activities in your communities including walking, dance, keep fit, Tai Chi … the list is endless and we would love to hear from you!

Thanks to a successful funding application to the Healthy and Active Fund, there will be activities and more opportunities for you to be active for the next three years!

Mondays:
1 – 2pm – Walking meet up in Maesteg
2.30 – 3.30pm – Tai Chi at Westward Community Centre, Cefn Glas Bridgend

Tuesdays:
10 – 11am – Tai Chi at St Marys Nolton Church, Bridgend  (outdoor / indoor session- weather dependant)

Wednesdays:
10 – 11am – Zoom Mat Yoga
11am – 12pm – Zoom Tai Chi
11am – 12pm – Tai Chi at William Trigg Community Centre, BlaengarwS
3 – 4pm – Tai Chi at Awel Y Mor Community Centre, Porthcawl

Thursdays:
10 – 11am – Tai Chi at Maesteg RFC

Fridays:
10.30 – 11.30am –  Zoom Keep Fit
Afternoon: Tai Chi at Nantymoel Boys and Girls Club, Nantymoel (to be confirmed)

Due to the current Covid guidelines and restrictions on attendance, participants are required to pre-book spaces to ensure they can be accommodated.
