RNID looking for volunteers for their Live Well with Hearing Loss Befriender role

Published: 9 June 2021

The Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID) is looking for volunteers to provide support and friendship to deaf people and those with hearing loss or tinnitus for their befriending service.

During the Covid-19 pandemic they are looking for volunteers to do this by telephone or letter. As a Live Well with Hearing Loss Befriender, you will phone people at a regular time each week, or write letters on a regular basis, and provide essential companionship for those who are lonely, socially isolated or unable to leave their home.”
