Link Up online workshop: Strategic, business and operational planning

Tuesday 20 April 2021 from 10am – 12 noon (online via Zoom)
Cost: free of charge
Booking deadline: 5pm, 15 April 2021

Bookings only open to voluntary sector in Wales.

Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, our Link Up Project aims to strengthen voluntary third sector governance and skills development, by helping trustees and board/committee members to become more confident in their roles.

Planning is essential for all successful organisations.

  • Does your organisation have a strategic plan?
  • Do you have an annual operational plan?
  • Why do you need these plans?
  • Are your plans fit for purpose or could they be improved?
  • What is your responsibility as a trustee regarding strategic and operational planning?

These are the sort of questions all trustees need to be able to answer with confidence.

This session will help trustees:

  • understand the benefit of having a strategic plan and an operational plan and the difference between them;
  • understand what needs to be included in a strategic plan and an operational plan (and what doesn’t);
  • practise planning in a safe environment.

This is an ONLINE session via Zoom (we can help you to access and install Zoom IN ADVANCE of the event if you need support to do that).
