The Croeso Bridgend network is a network of third sector organisations who support refugees/asylum seekers and other minority groups within Bridgend County.
The network encourages a range of organisations to be part of this – whether offering social activities, support through counselling, advice & guidance, health related support, housing, mental health etc. The network aligns to BAVO’s work around Cultural Competency and aims to bring together organisations who can offer support, encourage collaborative working and build on existing partnerships.

The Veterans Network is for third sector organisations operating within, or supporting Veterans, across Bridgend County. If you are a hub, or offer a support service for Veterans, this network is for you.
The Network also aims to promote awareness of funding and events relevant to veterans, and also to champion the Armed Forces Covenant widely across Bridgend County.

Our older population is increasing and there will be a much greater demand for our mental health dementia services in the future. We want to ensure that people living with dementia, now and in the future, have access to the support they need, at the right time, and in the right place.
Currently, our service is provided in day care settings, but we are inviting our communities to share their views on a proposed ‘peripatetic community service’ in the future.
A 10-week engagement period is open, running from 9.00 a.m. on Monday, 2nd September 2024 until 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 11th November 2024.
There are many ways in which you can share your views. They are explained here, along with further information about the proposal. An interactive online Murder Mystery! Organised by Awen Cultural Trust from 5 – 6 March 2021.
Calling all budding detectives! Your crime-solving expertise is required at a remote exploration outpost deep in Antarctica, for there has been a murder so dastardly it will make your blood run cold.
Can you solve the mystery of famous explorer Albert Ross’s icy death? Prepare to travel to the barren landscape of Antarctica, where you play detective. You’ll interrogate the suspects and attempt to unmask a murder with your fellow audience members. Only you can solve this case, as you pit your wits against some of the UK’s most talented performers and improvisers.
This interactive event takes place on zoom, one ticket per device. A guide to using zoom and a welcome message will be sent to all participants. The link to the event will be sent the afternoon of the event.

Founded over 10 years ago in the Welsh Valleys, the Tempos Time Credits’ model is tried and tested and works by members receiving Tempo Time Credits for the time they give to their community through local organisations.
Tempo Time Credits is funded by Welsh Government to roll out Tempo Time Credits Cymru. This exciting new programme will use Tempo Time Credits to tackle the impacts of poverty on communities and mobilise local social action through volunteering across Wales.
The online information session will show you the benefits of Tempo Time Credits, how to use them and introduce you to their new digital tool.
Y Bont is holding its first ever online music festival on Friday 12 Feb at 8pm. They have 13 amazing local acts lined up to bring you over two hours of live music streaming from their Facebook page and kindly ask that, if you can, make a donation to their fundraising page which will be linked.
All money raised will come directly to Y Bont and be used to support local children with disabilities who
attend their setting play and learn in a fun, safe, and stimulating environment.

The Gamesys Foundation is an independent charity organisation created and funded by Gamesys Group. The main focus of the Gamesys Foundation is to preserve and protect the wellbeing of individuals suffering from mental health issues.
They do that through providing grants and funding to organisations who care for these individuals directly, as well as those who focus on research in the mental health field.
