The Youth Support Network is open to any voluntary or community group who works with young people aged 11-25. It enables members to discuss the issues of young people, share good practice and work together to develop opportunities for young people.


As a member you can have access to training and funding opportunities and share the issues, views and needs of
young people within your services.

The network is currently reviewing its current integrated youth work strategy for Bridgend County Borough. The strategy is based on the needs of young people within the county borough with evidence collated from several community profiles and from direct consultation with young people.

The strategy provides a clear direction for voluntary or community groups providing opportunities for young people in Bridgend with a clear focus on the areas that we need to develop in priority order to provide the best outcome for young people.

Bridgend Voluntary Youth Support Network (YSN) has arranged this event to take place on Thursday 12 March 2020, from 6 - 8pm at the YMCA Bridgend.  

Opportunity for young people to have a voice in Bridgend County Borough! This event wants to hear from local young people their views around a range of issues; from living in Bridgend County Borough through to the services they use, views on youth service provision and what the gaps are. 

It will also be an opportunity to meet others from across the county borough and share information about local services, opportunities and projects available to them with a couple of workshops in the mix too.

Food and refreshments will be provided, and funding to support with transport costs is also available.
