Link Up online workshop: Committee skills

Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, our Link Up Project aims to strengthen voluntary third sector governance and skills development, by helping trustees and board/committee members to become more confident in their roles.

A well run voluntary, community or charitable organisation is characterised by well run committee meetings where there is democratic discussion, clear decision making and observable progress in the work of the group. In this session participants will learn how to make committee meetings more efficient, democratic and effective.

This session will help you to:

  • create and use effective agendas;
  • chair meetings;
  • take minutes.

This is an ONLINE session via Zoom (we can help you to access and install Zoom IN ADVANCE of the event if you need support to do that).
