A basic introduction to recruiting, selecting and managing volunteers - POSTPONED

BAVO's course is ideal for people who are new to managing volunteers or who would want a refresher. It will help you to be more knowledgeable and confident in your role as a volunteer manager. By the end of the session participants will be able to:

  • identify existing and new volunteering roles for volunteers;
  • identify where to recruit volunteers;
  • establish an effective selection procedure;
  • produce their own simple guide for managing volunteers.

Advanced trusteeship BAVO three hour workshop (for more experienced trustees) - POSTPONED

COST: Free of charge to all BAVO members and Link Up Project partners

This course is for experienced committee members / trustees of voluntary, community and charity groups and organisations. 

No matter how experienced you are as a trustee, or how long you’ve been a member of your Committee, there are lots of new developments in the world of charity governance in Wales that you need to keep abreast of. We all need to update, develop and refresh our knowledge and awareness over time.
