This half day course will help you to gain a greater understanding of measuring the difference your work makes and to help you better evaluate your groups’ work. Read more

An hour of your day goes a long way!

Imagine going days or weeks without seeing somebody or not being able to get out of  the house? An hour of your time to visit someone or to help them participate in community activities can make a huge difference to their day. Read more

Friendship and support for you

We support many people just like you through our volunteer befrienders. They will give some of their own time to offer you companionship if you are feeling lonely or need that little extra help to get out and about and back into community life. Read more

Working together to support people

You can refer people to our befriending project if you are supporting a person you think need that little extra support or companionship. You could be a be a health professional such as an occupational therapist, GP, social worker or district nurse. Housing associations can also refer, as well as voluntary organisations, family members or friends. We also have people who self-refer. Read more


We are a free of charge, confidential and non-judgemental befriending project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, giving high quality support to people living in Bridgend County Borough. Read more
