Their research has the overall aim of :

  • providing insights into the way in which third sector organisations delivering non-statutory services to communities in Wales are likely to be affected by the Brexit process;
  • what planning and preparations are underway to cope with the impacts of Brexit;
  • the ways in which third sector organisations could most benefit from support to mitigate the likely impacts of Brexit.

This is the second stage of their research, where they are focussing particularly on micro-organisations i.e. those with very few or no staff and working at a local level, and also organisations (of any size) working in rural areas.

Through the remainder of September and early October, Resources for Change will be asking third sector organisations across Wales to contribute to their research.

They are due to report to WCVA with initial findings in mid-October and then to report in full in November 2019.

They would be very pleased to speak to a small group, i.e. one that is entirely volunteer run. Resources for Change will use your personal data (name, email address etc) solely for the purposes of the research contract 'Empowering Communities in the Context of Brexit'.

These details are secured safely, and password protected in their system for the duration of the contract, and will be permanently deleted from their system at the end of the contract, expected to be November 2019.
