Do you enjoy meeting people? Looking for a change of direction? Want to boost your CV? In celebration of
national Volunteers’ Week 1 – 7 June, BAVO will be at various local locations giving out volunteering information.

Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration to recruit, reward and recognise volunteers. Accompanied by local community groups and voluntary organisations, find out how volunteering can benefit you by visiting Maesteg Tesco on Tuesday 4 June from 10am – 2pm, Bridgend Bus Station on Wednesday 5 June from 10am – 2pm and John Street Bandstand in Porthcawl on Friday 7 June from 10am – 3pm.

BAVO's Link Up Project will also be promoting and highlighting volunteer trustee and committee member roles during Volunteer's Week. Local trustees and committee members are invited to informal cuppa and chat drop in sessions at our Bridgend Volunteer Centre - 2 Queen Street in Bridgend town centre from 10am - 12.30pm and 2 - 3.30pm on Wednesday 5 June 2019. This relaxed and friendly event is for anyone who is a volunteer sitting on a management committee or a voluntary organisation trustee/executive board, as well as anyone interested in finding out more about what is involved in these roles.

Whatever your motivation, whatever your interests, come along to one of BAVO’s volunteering information days. There is no obligation to sign up to anything, just lots of information on options for people to take away and think about.
