4 July from 10am - 1pm
EYST Office, 11 St Helens Road, Swansea, SA1 4AB

The forum welcomes people who want to work toward greater racial equality in the region, most especially ethnic minority people (ethnic minority includes Black, Asian and other ethnic minority groups, including European Nationals and migrants).

It will work to influence politicians and decision makers to create policies and practices which better reflect the needs of BAME people in West Wales. This forum meets at least once every three months and they welcome newcomers, particularly community members and residents.

They will:

  • build on getting to know each other & promote your work;
  • meet the new West Wales Regional coordinator;
  • set out clear priorities for improving the lives of BAME people in West Wales;
  • update an action plan and figure out which decision makers they need to get involved;
  • provide open space for talking about issues that affect you.

The network also includes Bridgend County Borough.
