Our Link Up project will be running a series of free of charge on-line workshops over the next few months to help trustee boards and committees to improve their organisational plans.

The project is supported by the The National Lottery Community Fund to strengthen voluntary and community organisations in the Bridgend, Neath Port Talbot and Swansea areas.

Tuesday 21 July 2020 from 10.30 - 11.30am

The first workshop focuses on financial planning and will help you to have a better understanding of financial planning in so far as it relates to your role as a trustee.

Trustees and committee members:

  • Does your organisation have a financial plan?
  • Why do you need one?
  • Is your plan fit for purpose or could it be improved?
  • What is my responsibility as a trustee regarding financial planning?

These are the sort of questions all trustees need to be able to answer with confidence.

It is led by Alun Williams, a Link Up project volunteer mentor who has extensive knowledge and experience in financial planning and related subjects.
