Find out about volunteering opportunities to suit you during Volunteers' Week!

Volunteers' Week is an annual celebration of volunteers that takes place every year from 1 – 7 June, giving organisations the opportunity to recruit and recognise the commitment, talent and positive impact of volunteers.

Do you enjoy meeting people? Looking for a change of direction? Want to boost your CV? Volunteering can be exciting, challenging and rewarding. It benefits you and the individuals or the group you are helping. Groups rely on volunteers, so you can make a BIG difference to your community!

In celebration of national Volunteers’ Week, BAVO will be accompanied by local community groups and voluntary organisations to give out volunteering information at:

John Street Bandstand, Porthcawl
Friday 7 June 2019 from 10am - 3pm

We will be raising awareness of the different volunteering opportunities that are available throughout Bridgend County Borough such as retail, youth work, peer support, health groups through to Board Directors and lots more.

Whatever your motivation, whatever your interests, come along to BAVO’s volunteering information day. There is no obligation to sign up to anything, just lots of information on options for you to take away and think about.
