The Voluntary Sector Liaison Group

The Voluntary Sector Liaison Group is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Compact between the Bridgend voluntary sector, Bridgend County Borough Council and Bridgend Local Health Board.

The Voluntary Sector Liaison Group

The Compact enshrines the principles of partnership working between the agencies and recognises the value and importance of Bridgend's voluntary and community sector.

The principles of the Compact are now enshrined within all of the high level strategic partnerships within Bridgend including the Local Strategic Partnership.

The VSLG meets quarterly and members include representatives from the voluntary sector, local government and local health board.

Current priorities include reviewing the Compact and Action Plan whilst also exploring the changing role of scrutiny as indicated through the Assembly's Delivering Beyond Boundaries report.
