“Dragon’s Den” Funders Event comes to Bridgend this July

Weds 6th July 1 pm – 4.30 pm
Westward Centre, Cefn Clas, Bridgend CF31 4JR

This will be a chance to “pitch” your funding needs whether that be for existing work or future project ideas/plans. You get to meet one-on-one with the funders of your choice to gain their feedback on eligibility and some tips on how to shape your bid to maximise chances of success.  It also means that if you can apply, they get to know about your project and organisation personally, it’s not just a faceless paper submission!

15 min slots will be pre-bookable with the funder(s) you want to discuss ideas with.

So far we have the following funders joining us:

  • People & Places & Awards for All (National Lottery)
  • Moondance Foundation
  • Reach (Thriving Communities)
  • Community Foundation in Wales
  • Sport Wales
  • Heritage Lottery
  • BCBC Community Asset Transfer
  • Coalfields Regeneration Trust

… with more to be announced

This is a diary-marker so you have chance to think more about your project ideas, maybe ideas that you have put on the back burner for a while?

Please check out our BAVO Development Facebook page – which  gives some more information on the funders and their priorities for funding too.

We hope this is of interest to many of our groups – large & small!

If you want to book a slot  please get in touch, email : alisonmawby@bavo.org.uk

We really want local groups to take advantage of this  fantastic opportunity to speak directly to the funders.
