STEER need volunteers to look after animals and woodlands

Published: 1 June 2021

STEER is currently looking for volunteers who have the free time and experience in beekeeping, ponies, gardening, dry stone walls and woodlands.

Set in 37-acres, STEER is based at the edge of the Llynfi Valley. They have a resource and wellbeing centre at Tondu House Farm which provides an engaging, but tranquil setting, for all ages and abilities to use.

Wrapped in history and unique to the borough of Bridgend the centre provides a multigenerational approach, for a range of interventions and preventions that has real impact. You can find out further information here.

If you have the skills and time to volunteer with STEER, contact Sharon at BAVO, T: 01645 810400 or E: volunteering@bavo.org.uk
