The voice for older people in Bridgend County Borough
SHOUT is an independent non-party political organisation is one of the Community Voice: Needs Must /Pan fo Angen projects co-ordinated by BAVO.
This organisation is a county borough wide initiative that was set up with the support of a variety of local statutory and voluntary agencies. Its membership is made up entirely of people over 50 and its main aim is to raise any issue of concern that is brought to its attention via forums or other means. Ultimately, their aim is to influence positive change at a local, regional and/or national level.
SHOUT is also currently developing its role with Bridgend County Borough Council and other organisations to ensure that the views of older people are aired in a variety of different areas including the development of services and planning.

SHOUT link with a number of older person's groups within the county borough to ensure their voice is heard and to share information.
The forum is very active and new members are always welcome.
Bridgend SHOUT meet on the third Wednesday of the month at 10.30am in the Evergreen Hall, Angel Street, Bridgend.
