Welsh Government Draft Budget 2019-20 awareness session at BAVO 23 November
Date published: 22/10/2018
Welsh Government looking to engage with voluntary groups on budget process.
Welsh Government published the first stage of the Draft Budget 2019-20 on 2 October 2018 with the next stage to be published on 23 October 2018.
As such, they are looking for opportunities to engage with different groups on the budget process.
We realise that the Budget can appear complex and this is an opportunity to increase people’s understanding of the areas for which the Welsh Government is responsible for and to explain where Wales gets its money from.
The session will outline the new tax raising powers and highlight the challenges facing the Welsh Government in setting Budget allocations.
With this in mind, the Welsh Government are looking to help people understand the process better and to help you start to plan for 2019-20
As such BAVO would like to invite you to attend an awareness session on Friday 23 November at our BAVO offices (112/113 Commercial Street, Maesteg CF34 9DL) from 10.30 - 11.30am on the Welsh Government Budget process. This will include a short presentation followed by a Q&A session to answer any questions you may have. (Venue maybe subject to change depending on numbers booking on).
If you are interested in attending this briefing session, please reply to E: firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
