Join WCVA during Trustees Week in November

Trustees’ Week from 2 – 6 November 2020 is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees achieve and highlights opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference.

With their theme for Trusttes Week: ‘Breaking down barriers to trusteeship’, join WCVA who have lots going on, including:

  • a webinar on delivering your AGM digitally;
  • online events on diversifying your board (exclusive to WCVA members) and why young trustees are so important, and
  • they’ll be sharing trustee experiences and useful information all week on social media via #TrusteesWeek.

WCVA’s Trustee’s Week training and events sessions will take place online and are free to attend:

Diversifying your board (WCVA members-only event)
Wednesday 4 November 2020, 4 – 6 pm
Listen to some wonderful and insightful speakers talking about their experiences with board diversity, followed by a panel discussion and an open Q&A with WCVA members. Booking deadline for this event: 3 November 2020.

Fresh thinking: why young trustees are so important
Thursday 5 November, 2 – 3 pm
Young people will talk about their experiences with trusteeship, followed by a quick panel discussion and an open Q&A with participants.
