Making a difference to your community

Funded by the Transformation Fund, our Community Resilience Officer works with Bridgend County Borough’s community groups and individuals to identify what they feel would make a positive difference to their local area by supporting them develop new initiatives and activities.

Community Resilience

Pre-lockdown we helped a number of individuals set up various groups throughout the county borough to come together to combat loneliness and isolation of older people including a ‘Chatter and Natter’ friendship group in Kenfig Hill and a Sunday lunch bunch in Cefn Glas.

If you have any ideas that would improve where you live and need support to get it off the ground, please get in touch!
