Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health board have 300 beds to redistribute to community services and organisations

Community groups are asked whether these can be of use to support your organisation’s work/projects, for the benefit of local residents.

As per the photograph, the beds are cream metal and come with waterproof mattresses (note that if partners are interested in just mattresses this can also be accommodated). They are easy to assemble and are tested to exceed 60601-2-52 entrapment testing. You can view the instruction manual here.

The beds will be at no cost to the organisations and will be allocated on a first come basis. The beds are stored in Bridgend and you will need to make arrangements for them to be collected (within a limited day/time frame) so please give this consideration prior to getting in touch.

You will also be required to complete a letter of undertaking which transfers the responsibility for the equipment which is available by downloading here.

If you are interested in having a further conversation email: Paul.j.ellis@rctcbc.gov.uk  with your contact details.

Please note: you will be asked how the beds will benefit local communities and maybe contacted at a later date to provide an update as to their use.
